I joined Apartment Pros in 2007 as a Relocation Specialist and now serve as Executive Director for the company. I have lived in Richmond since 1997 and have enjoyed watching the city grow and change. I have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to live and work in the West End, Midlothian and now Downtown in historic Church Hill. Each area has something unique to offer and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and unique experiences in Richmond with those I assist in locating their new apartment home. My goal is help my clients find the best available apartment housing options while making the process of apartment hunting less burdensome and fun.

I am a native to Virginia and after spending much of my life in the suburbs I now live in the city of Richmond. Richmond has so much to offer. There is always something fun to do, whether it is shopping in Carytown, or catching a movie at the Westhampton Theatre. I spend a lot of time in the Fan and love taking walks with my dog or going for a run with my friends. What I like most about working for Apartment Pros is helping people who are new to the area figure out what part of Richmond best suites their lifestyle; whether it is the city or the suburbs and then helping them find their new home.

I have been a part of Apartment Pros, Inc. since April of 2003 and have loved every minute of it. Not only is our staff wonderful to work with every day, but what we do is so fulfilling. Helping an individual or a family find a new home is challenging and rewarding, especially if our client is new to the area. When I find an apartment that matches our clients’ checklists of requirements, it's great to see the relief in their eyes and the smiles on their faces. It makes this job so worth it! I love to pass on information about my favorite things to do in Richmond and the surrounding areas like day trips to Charlottesville for history and wine tasting and weekend getaways to the beach. Richmond also has so many wonderful restaurants, if you love to try new food like me, you won’t be disappointed!

I am originally from Dallas Texas, but I have been in the Richmond area for 25 years. I began working with Apartment pros in July of 2011, although I have been working in relocation doing rental assistance for over 14 years now. I have relocated three times myself, and I personally understand what it is like to have to move to a new city and start a new life. I enjoy nothing more than meeting new people from all over the world, showing them what a wonderful city Richmond is, and helping them make their move as smooth a transition as it can be. There are websites that tell you about apartments and send you on your way, but we are the only company that takes a personal interest in you. With internet and email, personal communication is becoming obsolete. I love working with the wonderful people in this company and enjoy the hands on service that we are able to provide. In my free time I enjoy traveling, relaxing on a sunny beach, and spending time with my wonderful family.

I have been a member of the Apartment Pros team since its inception in 2002, and during these past several years have enjoyed the pleasure of assisting many new, and existing Richmonders find their new apartment home. The greatest thing about working for Apartment Pros is the peace of mind we get to provide to our clients. We don't just help clients find an apartment, we have the unique opportunity to get to know our clients personally and really find out what is truly important to them and based on that information, match their needs with one of the best apartment communities in Richmond. When I am not in the apartment world, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, travelling, cooking, reading and shopping. Whether I'm strolling around Stony Point Fashion Park, jogging down Seminary Avenue or meeting friends for dinner at Amici, I am constantly reminded of why I chose to make Richmond my home. I am proud to say that I am a native of Richmond, and love all aspects of this beautiful city. Growing up in the suburbs of Chesterfield County, aka Southside, I have an appreciation for the "burbs", but at heart I am a city girl and enjoy residing in the beautiful and historic Bellevue neighborhood, in Richmond's Northside.

I was the original founder of Apartment Pros in 2002. After my many years of Property Management I realized that there was not a service that provided personalized assistance for individuals searching for an apartment. I wanted to emulate the same level of service you receive when buying a new home, because even though someone may be renting it is still their home and the details are equally as important. It has always been my personality to want to assist others and truly find what fits their specific individual needs and wants. Being a native to Richmond I have come to appreciate all that the area has to offer and I enjoy being able to share that knowledge with newcomers. I am happily married with two daughters, and in my spare time I enjoy spending time on our boat, either on the James River, Lake Chesdin or on the Chesapeake Bay. You can also catch me at my girl's soccer games on most Saturdays cheering on the team or walking and picnicing in one of our beautiful area parks like Maymont. One of my favorite attributes about Richmond is that you are one hour from the Blue Ridge Mountains and two Hours from Virginia Beach. The kids love going to Busch Gardens, Water Country USA, Kings Dominion and the newest addition, The Great Wolf Lodge all within an hour of our house! Although I enjoy having the city so close for an exciting night out on the town, I mostly enjoy living the quiet life with my family and friends in the Chesterfield County suburbs.
